URBAN INTEGRATION AND BUILDING VOLUME
In Neuhausen am Rheinfall, the planning and approval phase for an urban development project between Engestrasse and Klettgauerstrasse was successfully completed. This project comprises the construction of three apartment buildings with a total of 39 apartments. All buildings are connected by a large underground garage and are accessed via this. With the start of construction work, the project sets a new milestone in the urban development of this area.
ACCESS AND CIRCULATION
The arrangement of the buildings takes into account the existing urban building lines and at the same time offers a new perspective on urban density and volume ratios. The design of the building volumes reflects the surrounding architecture while making efficient use of the space and creating quality living conditions.
VOLUME AND FAÇADE DESIGN
The entrances to the buildings are clearly and intuitively designed, meeting both functional requirements and aesthetic considerations. The underground car park provides an efficient and centralized traffic solution that minimizes the impact on the urban space.
ADJUSTMENTS TO THE DISTANCE BETWEEN BUILDINGS
The integration of the loggias was carefully considered to take into account both the needs of the residents and the overall appearance of the building façade. This has resulted in a façade that is both functional and appropriate in its urban context.
The project has taken into consideration the building spacing prescribed by building regulations in order to make optimum use of the urban space and light conditions.
TRANSPORT LINKS AND OPEN SPACES
The landscape architecture of the site, with a combination of green and hard surfaces, emphasizes the interaction between the built space and its surroundings. The selected planting and zoning support the overall concept of the "residential park".
The open spaces and transport connections were planned in detail to ensure efficient circulation and use, with particular attention paid to the integration of green spaces and access points. Overall, the urban development project in Neuhausen am Rheinfall between Engestrasse and Klettgauerstrasse is exemplary of modern residential concepts that meet both the functional and aesthetic requirements of the 21st century. It is expected that the finished building will successfully realize this vision.
